This week we’re giving the dogs some time off and featuring a cat of the week. I’m pleased to introduce you to Stitch…
Stitch definitely has a crazy play mode! When he’s ready to go, he can be a little tornado. The rest of the time I barely know he’s here. If you’re looking for a playful companion, you have found him! Pull out the toys and he will entertain himself, and you, for an hour or two before settling down for a little loving and a cat nap.
He loves all the other animals in his foster home, from the cats and dogs to the rabbit. Stitch has a unique feature that catches your eye when you meet him. He is polydactyl, meaning he has an extra toe on each foot. It makes his paws look big! The vet says he’s going to be a big boy when he grows up; perhaps around 15 pounds!
If you are interested in meeting this sweet, fun little boy, email Crystal at email@example.com. You can fill out an application HERE.
This week, instead of showcasing a dog, we’re showcasing one of our beautiful cats. And with a name like “Julia,” she’s bound to be great!
Meet Julia! I am only about 6 months old and a lovable, brave little girl! I am very playful, talkative, and enjoy to follow you around. My curiosity gets the best of me and am always eager to play with other cats and friendly dogs. Even though I am young, I do not use my claws when being held. I am looking for my furever home with a family or someone who can give me lots of attention and/or has other companions at home for me to play with.
I am spayed, litter box trained, and up to date on my shots. For more information about Julia, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. The adoption application can be completed HERE.
We’re taking a little break from Dog of the Week to bring you our Cat of the Week, Charlie. She is an adult black and white long hair cat.
Charlie is an extremely personable and loving cat. She gets along with other animals very well and seems to have no problem approaching other cats or humans to play and interact. She is very sociable and loves any attention she can get. Most times people will grow weary of petting her before she will grow tired of being petted. So if you are looking for a very sweet, loving, and outgoing pet, Charlie may be the perfect fit!
Charlie has been spayed and is up to date on shots. Available for indoor homes only. For more information contact email@example.com. You can also complete the adoption application HERE.
You read it right, Last Hope Animal Rescue takes in cats as well as dogs! To help get the word out, we are going to start posting an adoptable cat every month, as long as we have one up for adoption. Our first lucky cat to be featured is Hampton.
We will let Hampton tell you a little about himself…
Hello there! My name is Hampton. I recently had surgery on my back leg but I’m tough and am getting around just fine. I put more weight on it each day but am quite quick despite my injury. I am definitely a people person and love to be petted. I can be shy at first, but once I get to know you I like to be wherever you are. Sometimes I’ll even snuggle up to you at bedtime, or I’ll be quiet on the floor next to you. I don’t need to be entertained much as sometimes I like my “me” time.
I get along with other cats unless they pick on me. I’m not usually the starter, but won’t let them get away with it after awhile. I usually take the high road and stay to my own corner around others as to not start a fight or make them angry. I’m a lover, not a fighter J I like to play with strings or things that are hanging in front of me. I have claws still, but won’t ruin any of your nice things. I can become quite energetic at times and like to roll around on the floor.
I am really relaxed in car rides although they aren’t my favorite. I also am good at doing my business in liter boxes. I’m not really picky when it comes to food either. I like all kinds.
In a nutshell I am a cuddly cat who loves to be loved and am looking for a home that’s right for the both of us.
